Thoughts On This Illustration

This Illustration was drawn during my time as a second year illustration student at AUArts. This class was one of the more insanely stressful times at this school, but at the same time was some of the most fun I’ve had. The final project was based on a fish/human hybrid project, inspired by my sister’s Serpae Tetras and their hyper nature. I wanted to convey the kind of crazed eyes they have in the human half of this animal to inform the person watching that they are indeed twitchy and hyper.
